What is distributed photovoltaic power generation? Distributed photovoltaic power generation refers specifically to the photovoltaic power generation facilities that are built near the user's site and characterized by the balanced adjustment of the distribution system. It is a new type of power generation and energy comprehensive utilization method with broad development prospects. Later, the National Energy Administration issued the Notice of the National Energy Administration on Further Implementing the Related Policies for Distributed Photovoltaic Power Generation.
“The construction of non-power consumption facilities such as agricultural greenhouses on the ground, access to the power grid at a voltage level of 35 kilovolts and below (66 kV in the northeast region), a single project capacity of no more than 20,000 kilowatts, and electricity generation mainly The photovoltaic power station projects consumed by the radio stations in the substation will be incorporated into the distributed photovoltaic power generation scale indicator management and the on-grid tariffs of the local photovoltaic power station will be implemented.”
Subsequently, the State Grid Corporation of China made its own interpretation. In the “State Grid Corporation of China  No. 174 Notice of the State Grid Corporation of China on Issuing Distributed Power Grid-connected Services Management Rules,” distributed power is defined as:
The first type is a distributed power supply with a total installed capacity of no more than 6 megawatts connected to a voltage level of 10 kilovolts or less;
The second type: 35 kilovolt voltage level access, more than 50% distributed power supply for self-use in the year; or 10 kilovolt voltage level access and the total installed capacity of a single grid point exceeds 6 megawatts, the annual self-use power consumption is greater than 50% Distributed power supply;
The third category: power generation projects where the access point is a public connection point, all generating capacity is connected to the grid, and small hydropower, in addition to the first and second categories of distributed power. In line with the simple and efficient principle, we will do a good job of grid-connected services and implement the relevant regulations for the regular power supply of the State Grid Corporation of China.
The first and second categories basically represent rooftop distributed and terrestrial distributed projects, respectively, and the third category corresponds to distributed projects with full online access.
